Out of the blue offers two choices of underwater housings.
A professional Amphibico ROUGE underwater housing which accommodates RED Dragon, Epic and Scarlet cameras, gives us the ability to record up to 6K picture resolution.
The housing offers underwater full electronic control on the camera. Direct access to operational camera functions and easy access to camera navigation functions through all Menus.
ROUGE housing comes with a “Dome Port” that delivers underwater, images of the same angle of view as the lens does on the surface. A “Flat Port” is also available for close up and macro shots. A set of extension rings for both ports gives as an unlimited choice between all cinema PL mount lenses available in the market.
Rouge is the most compact and flexible housing available in the industry which makes u/w shooting much easier and time saving.
An HD-SDI cable delivers HD quality image on the surface so that the director and the rest of the crew can control and support the shooting.
A professional Nauticam NA-A7 underwater housing with SONY A7s, best low light mirorless camera in the market, combined with Nikonos 15mm f/2.8 lens, gives us the ability to record either 4K or HD resolution. It is the most compact package of underwater camera producing high quality images. More lens options Nikonos 24mm f/2.8, 28mm f/2.8, and 35mm f/2.8, are available for this camera.
The SONY Nikonos package is an excellent choice when a more compact and lightweight package is needed. Depending on the needs of a production, an option of a different camera package can be considered.
Shooting underwater interfears light and a lot of times we need more light to fill the strong sun light or lights to light the set when you work in a tank or a pool. Out of the Blue designed and constructed a series of underwater lghts that suit in every ocasion. Our lights are 650W each and they can deliver either 3200K or 5000K light. They can be used as units or in groups in order to produce a stronger and softer light.
A communication system is used in order to coordinate the shoot underwater. Out system includes a loud puplic address amplifier and a high quality underwater loudspeaker. the director can talk while shooting to the underwater crew as well to the actors.
In a lot of underwater shootings there is a need for special constructions or certain objects that must be on the seabed and look like there were there for ever.
We have the experience and specialised set-makers who can design, build and treat the materials in a way that will last underwater for the shoot.
Expert divers-dressers can place on the seabed in a proper way the constructions or objects needed for the film.
